More About our Mobile App

To begin using our App, your customers simply need an Apple or Android smartphone, a valid allpay swipe card (or a 19-digit payment reference number) and a current bank card. Your organisation must be signed up to accept debit and/or credit card payments via allpay for the App to work.

Customers simply download the App from the Apple App store or Google Play and, after a brief registration process, they can pay their bills at the touch of a button with internet access. What’s more, your customers can save all their payment numbers and amounts, plus their bank card details so they don’t need to enter the same information every time.

This service works in complete harmony with all the other payment methods from allpay and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t find the answer to what you are looking for or require further information, email enquiries@allpay.net.

What’s different about the new version of the App?

The latest version of the app has been updated to display up to 20 recent payments that you have made in the last 6 months for all Android and IOS users as well as some minor bug fixes.

What is a Payment Reference Number (PRN)?

A Payment Reference Number can be found on an allpay issued magnetic swipe card – which looks like a credit/debit card and usually has the name of the organisation to whom you are paying your bills – or on a barcoded bill. PRN's can be stored within the app meaning that you do not have to enter them every time you wish to make a payment.

What is a ‘Quick payment’?

The option to make a ‘Quick payment’ is what users will currently be used to – it allows you to make a payment using a stored bank card and Payment Reference Number.

Turning ‘Quick Payment’ off in the ‘My Details’ tab will allow you to make a one-time payment where you don’t have to use a stored bank card or Payment Reference Number.

Can I use the allpay App abroad?

Yes, although the allpay App has been designed for use in the UK. It may be unlawful to access some of the services in some countries and you are responsible for your use of it abroad. Your mobile operator may charge you for using the allpay App abroad, and roaming charges may apply, so please check with them.

How can I safely recycle or dispose of my mobile phone/device if I have downloaded the allpay App?

Before disposing of your mobile phone/device, we recommend you remove the allpay App. If for some reason you change your mind, the App can be downloaded free of charge again anyway. This further minimises the security risk.

Can the card details be changed by third parties?

No, all card details within the app can only be updated by the user who is logged into the app

Is my debit or credit card information stored on the phone?

No, the app does not store any debit or credit card details – these are stored securely by allpay meaning that no one could access your debit or credit card details via the phone

Can I use the allpay App if I have no phone signal?

In order to use the allpay App your phone must be connected to the Internet. The app will work on wi-fi or via your mobile network when you have sufficient signal.

How can I enable the new APP to autofill my username and password?

For IOS users you are able to autofill your details by using the settings on your phone and following the below:

  • Go to Settings
  • Passwords & Accounts
  • Enable Autofill Passwords
  • Tap Website & App Passwords
  • Press the + symbol
  • Under website add 'www.allpayments.net'
  • Add your username and password

On sign-in, if you have autofill enabled when you tap your email address, you are then able to use the password key from your keyboard and choose the correct password from the drop down.
